The NEBOSH Construction Certificate is a highly regarded qualification in the construction industry that provides you with a sound level of knowledge and practical skill-set as a duty holder in this high risk sector.

It covers the main legal requirements relating to health and safety in UK construction work, identification and control of construction workplace hazards, and the practical application of this knowledge.

The 5-Day course assumes you have successfully completed the NGC 1 in the last 5 years in order to be exempt from this Unit, otherwise you should attend the 10-Day course.

The NEBOSH Construction Certificate is aimed at those working in construction, civil engineering, utilities, property management, broadcasting and other sectors. It is suitable for managers, supervisors and CDM Coordinators.

  • Element 9: Physical and psychological health – hazards and risk control
  • Element 10: Working at height – hazards and risk control
  • Element 11: Excavation work and confined spaces – hazards and risk control
  • Element 12: Demolition and deconstruction – hazards and risk control

Unit NCC2: Construction health and safety practical application

Course Outcomes

On completion of each unit, you should be able to demonstrate your understanding of the domain knowledge covered by:

  • The application of knowledge to familar and unfamiliar situations.
  • The critical analysis and evaluation of information presented in both quantitative and qualititative forms.

What You Need

To attend this 5-Day course, delegates must have successfully completed the NGC 1 in the last 5 years in order to qualify for exemption for that Unit. Otherwise, delegates should attend the 10-Day course.
